The Norwegian Sovereign Wealth Fund has invested in 44 Turkish companies
The Norwegian Sovereign Wealth Fund reported a profit of $222 billion from its investments last year, and it has now revealed its investments in 44 Turkish companies for 2024. The fund made its first investments in 11 companies in Türkiye while exiting its positions in 6 others.
Holding 1.5% of global stock market shares, the Norwegian Sovereign Wealth Fund published its data for 2024. According to the report, the fund achieved an investment return of 13% last year, equivalent to 2.511 trillion Norwegian kroner (approximately $222 billion).
Last year, the fund focused on technology firms and invested in a total of 44 Turkish companies. While it ended its investments in 6 companies in Türkiye, it also made its initial investments in 11 new companies.
