In a recent statement, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan declared, “We will not allow our nation’s unity, the integrity of our homeland, and the strength of our state to be undermined by these serpents. With God’s permission, we are on the verge of breaking the last link of the imperialist game.”
Addressing the recent meetings between the DEM Party lawmakers and terrorist leader Abdullah Öcalan, Erdoğan emphasized that the ongoing efforts have a singular goal: the disbandment of the terrorist organization and the unconditional surrender of its weapons.
Speaking at the podium wearing a Diyarbakırspor scarf, Erdoğan stated, “The peace of Diyarbakır is the peace of Türkiye. The fate of Diyarbakır is the fate of Türkiye. Our brotherhood is a destiny of brotherhood. We have always loved you openly. Various plots have been devised to undermine brotherhood in these lands. We are well aware of the insidious intentions behind these efforts. Regardless of who supports them, those who back such treasonous projects for petty interests will ultimately face failure. We will not allow our nation’s unity, the integrity of our homeland, and the strength of our state to be undermined by these serpents.”
