It has been revealed that the two sisters who went missing 19 years ago in Kahramanmaraş were murdered and that their bodies were buried in the garden of a country house.
In Kahramanmaraş, a renewed investigation was launched by the Provincial Police Department, in coordination with the Kahramanmaraş Chief Public Prosecutor’s Office, regarding the disappearance of Fatma Alıç, born in 1974, and her sister, known as Gülcan, born in 1981, who went missing in 2005.
As part of this investigation, evidence was collected, and it was determined that the sisters had been murdered and their bodies buried in the garden of a country house in the Sarıkaya area of the Dulkadiroğlu district. Excavation work was carried out at the site using heavy machinery.
During the excavation, bone fragments belonging to two individuals were found.
The police identified that Fatma Alıç, known as Gülcan, had experienced disputes with B.Y., with whom she was living in a religious marriage, due to jealousy.
B.Y. and his cousin M.D., who is accused of assisting him, were taken into custody on charges of “premeditated murder.”
The suspects’ processing at the police station is ongoing.
