An incredible event occurred today in Istanbul. While the funeral prayer for 89-year-old Halit Bayşu was being held in the Fatih district of Istanbul, sounds began to come from the coffin. When the coffin was opened, it was seen that Halit Bayşu was alive.
Health teams who arrived at the scene upon notification performed CPR on Bayşu, who was then taken to the hospital by ambulance. Despite all the interventions at the hospital, Bayşu passed away.
It was claimed that Bayşu had been taken to a private hospital by his family after falling ill around 7:00 AM and that a report was given stating he had died around 9:00 AM.
According to the claim, 89-year-old Halit Bayşu, who was undergoing treatment for throat cancer and had been receiving infection treatment in a hospital for about a week, was discharged from the hospital and sent home. After feeling unwell around 7:00 AM, Bayşu was taken to a private hospital by an ambulance called by his family. A report was given stating that Bayşu had passed away around 9:00 AM. After the funeral procedures were initiated, Bayşu’s body was brought to Hacı İlyas Yatağan Mosque in the Ayvansaray neighborhood for the funeral prayer.
While preparations for the prayer were being made, an ambulance was called to the mosque when sounds were heard coming from the coffin. Upon examination by the health teams, it was noted that Bayşu had a pulse, and CPR was performed. He was taken back to the hospital by ambulance. Despite all the interventions at the hospital, he passed away.
It was learned that Bayşu’s funeral would be buried after an examination at the Forensic Medicine Institute.
