Arkan also admitted that he knew these donations were intended to apply for public matching funds. After the hearing, both Arkan and his attorney, Jonathan Rosen, chose not to answer questions from reporters.
Potential Sentence Reduction
Arkan’s sentencing is scheduled for August 15. Documents submitted to the federal court suggest that Judge Dale E. Ho may consider a sentence reduction for Arkan, who has accepted the charges against him.
Additionally, other evidence presented by the prosecution could broaden the scope of the case. Testimonies from other businessmen linked to the illegal donation campaign are expected to be heard in future hearings.
Upcoming Jury Appearance
