“We brought the TF6000 engine itself to TEKNOFEST Adana” Mahmut Akşit stated in an interview with AA that they strive to present something new to visitors at TEKNOFEST each year, mentioning that they previously showcased a plastic model of the TF6000 engine, and this year they brought the actual engine to TEKNOFEST Adana.

Akşit noted that the TF6000 engine is Türkiye’s first true aircraft engine, saying, “The TF6000 is a turbofan military aircraft engine. Our 6,000-pound class engine is proof that Türkiye can now produce aircraft engines. I had previously stated that when we make and operate these engines, we will have entered the Super League of aviation engine technologies. We have entered the Super League, alongside countries like the USA, the UK, France, and Germany that have developed their own engines. We operated the engine in February, reaching up to 15,000 RPM, and we maintained it there for an extended period. So far, we have successfully conducted nearly 60 tests.”
